Umair Shahid – Founder
Hello there, and welcome to Stormatics – a venture whose roots are defined by my passion for PostgreSQL. I am absolutely thrilled to have you here!
I founded Stormatics to help businesses scale PostgreSQL reliably for their mission-critical data workloads. At Stormatics, we leverage our expertise in PostgreSQL to deliver high-quality, customized consulting that meets the needs and expectations of our clients.

Sam Melehy – Advisor
Sam has been selling and delivering technology and professional services solutions to the Global 2000 for over 30 years. He is an internationally experienced executive and entrepreneur.
Sam’s accomplishments include building, growing, running, acquiring and selling software and services organizations/companies from startup to $100M in size, including an exit to a Fortune 100 company. His expertise spans many disciplines, including GenAI, IT Operations, DevOps, Automation, Cloud Computing/Strategy/Management, Monitoring, Application Development, CI/CD, Mobile, Big Data/Analytics and others.
Sam holds a Master’s degree in Robotics and a Bachelor’s of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island.
